JMS Access Takes Delivery of 1,000th Machine

Independent powered access rental company JMS Access has taken delivery of its 1,000th machine.

 

The company, a division of JMS Powered Access, reached its millennial milestone after receiving a Genie ZX-135/70 boom lift from Access Platform Sales Ltd (APS).

 

Mark Jackson, founder director of JMS Powered Access, said: “We are extremely proud to have reached one thous machines. We’re also pleased it was a boom from APS, as we have worked closely with them since our inception. APS has been with us every step of the way has provided us with a first class service throughout.

 

“JMS continues to go from strength to strength we will continue to exp our fleet to meet growing customer dem. We anticipate hitting 1,200 machines later this year.”

 

Founded in Harpenden in Hertfordshire in 2000, JMS Powered Access is one of the UK’s fastest-growing access rental companies. The company has grown into a national provider, with additional depots in Leeds at Pinewood Studios. The Genie ZX-135/70 joins the company’s impressive fleet of big booms including more than 40 machines providing working heights of 80ft or more.

 

The Genie ZX-135/70 is a diesel articulating rough terrain boom, offering a maximum working height of 141ft (43.1.5m) horizontal reach of almost 70ft (21.26m). The telescopic jib extends from 12 to 20ft (3.66m to 6.10 m) provides a 110˚ vertical range of motion for precise positioning.

 

Jim Daintith, a director of IAPS Group, which owns APS, officially hed over the Genie ZX-135/70 to JMS Access. “We are delighted to have supplied JMS with its one thousth machine,” said Jim. “JMS has achieved this milestone in an impressively short space of time I believe that is because Mark his team do business the right way.

 

“We look forward to supplying them with many more machines – at this rate we will be back soon with number two thous.”

Genie ZX-135/70
