Niftylift

Niftylift was founded in 1985 by Roger Bowden and ever since has been manufacturing quality mobile elevated work platforms that are distributed around the world.

JMS has a comprehensive range of Niftylift hybrid boom lifts, including rough terrain and trailer mounted boom lifts, with working heights ranging from 12.2m up to 28m.

The range of Niftylift booms comes with Secondary Guarding protection as standard. Called SiOPS (Sustained Involuntary Operation Prevention System), it stops the machine should the operator become trapped between the machine controls and surrounding objects. This prevents further serious injury from sustained involuntary operation.

Niftylift boom lifts are available to hire across the UK from JMS hire depots in HarpendenLeedsRadlett and Dartford.

IPAF Training
JMS can provide the IPAF training courses required to operate Niftylift boom lifts safely:
For trailer-mounted boom lifts: Static Boom (1b)
For self-propelled boom lifts: Mobile Boom Vertical (3b)

Niftylift Hybrid Boom Lifts

Niftylift hybrid boom lifts benefit from a revolutionary second-generation Hybrid power system. A combination of a smaller EU Stage V compliant engine and an electric motor makes these platforms a cost-effective and more environmentally friendly choice for the work site.

The diesel engine can be used when moving the platform across the work site and the electric motor can be used when working in enclosed areas, as well as provide extra power to the diesel engine when needed.

Niftylift hybrid boom lifts provide power and performance along with savings on fuel consumption. The electric batteries are easy to charge using a plug-in mains charger and with the “Diesel Re-Gen” feature which recharges the batteries whilst the machine is idle, and the engine is running.
