JMS Powered Access is delighted with the arrival of six new Z™-45XC booms from Genie.
The Z™-45XC booms offer up to 100 per cent more lift capacity and due to high demand are bound to be out on almost permanent hire.
JMS Managing Director Mark Jackson said: “The purchase of six new boom lifts is a significant investment by JMS in our powered access fleet. It comes in response to customer demand for tough, large capacity cherry pickers, and the Z™-45XC is a real work horse.”
The Genie Z™-45XC boom is the redesigned ‘extra capacity’ version of the brand’s popular rough terrain Genie Z-45/25 J RT diesel powered articulating boom. It has a maximum working height of 15.86 metres and a maximum outreach of 7.55 metres, with platform capacity up to 454kg.
Wider range of heavier lift and access tasks
The boom’s extra capacity can result in up to 100 percent more lift capacity, while weighing just 440 kg more than the standard model. Operators can perform a wider range of heavier lift and access tasks on rough terrain using the Z™-45XC boom without having to use another machine.
Mark Jackson said: “The new Z™-45XC lift is suitable for a range of applications on unfinished construction sites with two people on board and up to 100 kg of tools in weight.
“JMS is responding to the latest working practices and need for efficiency and cost control.
“Fewer machines means a more controlled environment so contractors can offer main contractors additional safety.
“The Z™-45XC offers powerful performance as well as plenty of room for people, tools and equipment. It is a valuable addition to the powered access machine fleet we have available for hire.”
New design features including a redesigned 1.83m dual entry platform and reinforced components to support additional weight in the platform.
